Daily Litter Tracking

How Ardent works

Daily Litter Tracking is the heart of Ardent, and it runs on three habits. Each takes a minute or two a day, on whatever device is nearest: phone at the nest box, tablet in the kitchen, laptop when you write the owner pack. At the end of them you can prove the litter was raised right, rather than just promise it.

Three steps

  1. 1

Log each kitten's daily weights & milestones

Work down the litter one kitten at a time. Weights, feeding notes, eyes open, first steps, litter tray, recorded against the animal and the date, not a spreadsheet row you have to remember to fill in.

  2. 2

    Flag growth trends early

Every weigh-in feeds an auto-generated growth chart for the litter, over 7, 30, or 90 days. Ardent works out each kitten's daily growth rate between weigh-ins and colour-codes it, amber below 6% a day and red below 3%, so a kitten falling behind is visible on the chart, not three days later when you re-read your notes.

  3. 3

Share polished reports with new families

The record you kept all along becomes the owner pack: growth history, health dates, and care notes in a document a new family can read. Evidence the litter was raised right.

What it looks like

Go deeper

Daily tracking is the start. Ardent also holds your cattery records, health schedules, pedigrees and COI, so the litter's story and the breeding decisions behind it live together.
